• The Coming Civil War over General Purpose Computing: Cory Doctorow is a futurist autheor and technology cmmentator. In this Google Tech Talk (long 1:10:23) he discusses what rights owners and users of computers ought to have, and how to ensure those rights. What rights should you have over your PC, your self driving car, your phone, or your cocular implant? What about the elevator you ride in or the computer your work owns? What changes when you lease rather then own a device? Mr. Doctorow makes the case that we should talk about these issues now before financial or social interests begin to distort our ethical reasoning.
